Dr Wilson Tam is Associate Professor and Director of Research at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (ALCNS), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is an epidemiologist and statistician by training, he obtained his M.Phil. degree in Statistics at the University of Hong Kong and PhD degree in Medical Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Before joining ALCNS as Assistant Professor in 2014, he was Research Assistant Professor at the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care, CUHK. He has been working in the field of Public Health and Nursing for more than 20 years. His research focuses include statistical analyses on health data, methodological issues in meta-analyses, and environmental health. Dr Tam has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
