Yexia is a Research Fellow at IPUR studying mortality risks under extreme coastal flooding events. Trained in civil and environmental engineering, he quantifies such risks by working with flood modelling tools and geospatial datasets. Passionate about sustainability and environmental research, he collaborates with team members in the interdisciplinary Coastal Adaptive Protection Planning project, which is stratigically positioned at the intersection of engineering, public policy, economics, behavioural and communication sciences.
