Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Communications and New Media, NUS,

Natalie Pang is Associate Professor and Head at the Communications and New Media Department (CNM). Her research and teaching lie at the intersection of technology and society, and she has authored and co-authored journal articles, book chapters, encyclopaedia entries, and commentaries in the areas of digital citizenship, digital well-being, and digital humanities.  She serves on the editorial board of Communication Theory, International Journal of Press/Politics, International Journal of Information, Diversity, and Inclusion and Asian Journal of Communication. She is also a member of the UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab, and a member of the Safety Advisory Council at TikTok. In Singapore, she serves as a member of the Media Literacy Council, Films Appeal Committee and Heritage Advisory Panel at the National Heritage Board.
