Dr Aimee Pink is a psychologist with a keen interest in understanding the psychological and social factors that influence food choice and eating behaviours. She completed her Psychology undergraduate degree at the University of Southampton before moving to Swansea University to complete an MSc in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology followed by a PhD (Psychology).
Her previous research has explored the mechanisms underpinning emotional eating, factors that determine portion size and influences of body image. More recently her research has focused on understanding consumer perceptions and acceptance of sustainable diets with a particular focus on alternative proteins.
Aimee joined IPUR as a Senior Research Fellow in 2026 and is affiliated with the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Proteins, NUS.
